These Terms & Conditions ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the Rex apps and website (the "Service"), provided by Rex Inc. ("Rex", "we", "us"). By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

1. Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years old (or the minimum age of digital consent in your country) to use Rex. By using the Service you confirm you meet this requirement and can form a binding contract.

2. Your account

You are responsible for the activity under your account and for keeping your login credentials secure. Notify us promptly of any unauthorized use. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.

3. Your content

You retain all ownership of the notes, tasks, events, links, and other content you create in Rex ("Your Content"). You grant us a limited license to store, process, sync, and display Your Content solely to operate and provide the Service to you. You are responsible for Your Content and for having the rights to use it.

4. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

Use the Service for anything unlawful, harmful, or infringing.
Upload malware or attempt to disrupt, reverse-engineer, or gain unauthorized access to the Service.
Abuse, overload, or scrape the Service, or use it to send spam.
Violate the rights of others, including intellectual-property and privacy rights.

5. AI features & third-party services

Optional AI features send your requests to a third-party AI provider you configure (using your own API key). Your use of those providers is subject to their terms. AI output may be inaccurate; review it before relying on it. Links you save may load third-party content we do not control.

6. Plans & payments

Rex offers free and paid plans. Paid subscriptions are billed through the applicable app store or payment processor and renew until cancelled, in line with that store's rules. Taxes may apply. Except where required by law, payments are non-refundable.

7. Our intellectual property

The Service, including its software, design, and branding, is owned by Rex and protected by law. These Terms do not grant you any right to our trademarks or to copy or modify the Service except as expressly allowed.

8. Termination

You may stop using Rex and delete your account at any time from Settings → Account. We may suspend or terminate access if you breach these Terms or to protect the Service. On termination, your right to use the Service ends; sections that by nature should survive will survive.

9. Disclaimers & limitation of liability

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, to the fullest extent permitted by law. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, or for loss of data, profits, or goodwill. Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law. Keep your own backups of important content.

10. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will post the updated version here and revise the "Last updated" date; material changes will be communicated in the app. Continued use after changes means you accept them.

11. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction in which Rex Inc. is established, without regard to conflict-of-laws rules, unless local mandatory consumer law provides otherwise.
